Overview

Modjo Poultry Farm is a modern and large-scale layering operation strategically located in Modjo, Ethiopia — just 75 kilometers from Addis Ababa. Our farm is constructing a state-of-the-art facility to meet domestic and international standards for egg production and animal welfare.

Farm Capacity & Production

The farm will feature eight advanced layer houses, each accommodating 66,500 birds, totaling 532,000 layer birds. At full operation, we anticipate approximately 144 million eggs annually, making Modjo Poultry Farm one of Ethiopia’s largest and most efficient egg producers.

Rearing Operations

Two rearing houses will nurture baby chicks until they reach maturity at around 18 weeks. This ensures a reliable supply chain, strong bird health, and optimal egg productivity.
